Academic Staff of the Department:
The Department of Computer-Aided Design (CAD) was established in 1989 within the Radio Engineering Faculty to train engineers in "Computer-Aided Design".
Mykhaylo Lobur is the Head of the CAD Department since May 3, 2000.

The department is situated in the education building IV (rooms 318-324). There are 5 education laboratories equipped with modern computers (107 computers), that are connected to a general network of the university with access to the Internet.
Educational Process
The study of Computer Science and Information Technology provides training of the highly qualified specialists in the field of programming, automated design, and complicated systems development. In the process of study our students receive practical training in the foreign universities, participate in International projects, attend scientific conferences in Ukraine and abroad.
Our students receive job offers from Ukrainian and European IT-companies, design firms, information and technical departments of business organizations, banks, large enterprises. The best graduates of our department are invited to continue their study as the postgraduates in Ukrainian universities, universities of Warsaw, Krakow, and Lodz.
Postgraduate and Doctoral Studies major in "Compurer-Aided Design Systems", successfully operate at the CAD department.
